ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday said that Nawaz is not a name of an ideology, but is synonymous to mafia and that the public of the country appreciates SC’s decision.
“Nawaz Sharif is not a name of any ideology, it is another name for mafia. The entire nation is pleased with the Supreme Court (SC)’s decision to oust Nawaz from premieship,” Imran said while speaking to the media in Islamabad.
Speaking about the caretaker government, Imran said that its main purpose is to ensure transparent elections. “The previous caretaker government failed to fulfill its duties. He added that 22 political parties termed the general elections 2013 as ‘controversial’.
The PTI chief also said that there is a gap in FATA that if not filled, it will be exploited by the enemies of Pakistan. Khan added that “the PTI is making its efforts to provide the people of FATA with their rights. Their demands are justified. Mehmood Achakzai and Fazlur Rehman do not want the region the develop.”
Responding to Nawaz’s comments that “the Adiala jail is being cleaned up for a special guest”, Imran said that soon those who have looted that country will be locked up in the Adiala.
