ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said across-the-board accountability, elimination of corruption and transparency were top priorities of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government.
PM Khan and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal held a meeting on Wednesday and pondered over the ways to eliminate corruption from across the country.
“Elimination of corruption, across-the-board accountability and transparency are top priority of the PTI government. Government will provide all possible support to NAB to continue it’s anti-corruption efforts,” the PM said during the one-on-one interaction.
NAB chief also congratulated the Imran for being elected as the premier, while the PM expressed satisfaction over the watchdog’s performance.
