KARACHI: Police detained pillion riders in different parts of Karachi on Sunday, arrested 132 motorcyclists.
The ban was imposed on pillion riding by Sindh interior ministry for security purposes on the occasion on Hazrat Imam Hussain’s Chelum and took strict measurements against those who violated the ban. Police conducted a search operation in Jackson area on the behalf of intelligence report that disclosed the criminal elements were present in the area, apprehended 23 suspects.
Police have shifted the arrested suspects to police station for further investigation.
